ISLAMABAD: Special Assistant to the Prime Minister for Information and Chairman CPEC Committee Lieutenant General (retd) Asim Saleem Bajwa called on Chief Minister Balochistan Jam Kamal Khan and discussed issues of mutual interest including development in Balochistan. On the occasion, the Chief Minister said that all resources are being utilized for the development of Balochistan for which the cooperation of the federal government is also essential and added that a very useful meeting has been held with Prime Minister Imran Khan who has assured cooperation. Chief Minister said that Balochistan would only develop with investment and construction of infrastructure. Asim Saleem Bajwa said that he was in favor of giving priority to Balochistan in the Federal PSDP, adding that it is the largest and most important province in terms of geographical position and mineral resources. He has rendered services in Balochistan and retains a special interest in it and is aware of the development needs of the province. He said that he would play a role for coverage of Balochistan in the national media.
