QUETTA: Provincial Secretary Food Noor Ahmed Pirkani has said that use of food free from adulteration is an essential component for a healthy living.

He said that Balochistan Food Authority was established with a view to provide safe food to the masses and to make the food services work within the purview of law.

He expressed these views while addressing to the participants of workshop organized by European Union and International Trade Centre under their GRASP Pakistan Project in collaboration with Balochistan Food Authority.

He said that BFA has exhibited efficient performance with a very short span of time, adding that the building for BFA is also in its final phases while two labs are also under construction. He also announced that the website of BFA will soon be announced so that the masses are educated about food related matters.
